Happy Fall, Everyone!

Did you have the opportunity to enter a quilt in the Kimberton Fair this past July?  Wow!  Even though there was only a short amount
of time to get the word out, the number of entries in the quilting categories went from last year’s three or four to over 35.  I think
that's fantastic, and I can't wait to see what happens next year!  I can’t wait to see the show grow and get even better as time goes on.

As always, please check my website if you’re looking for classes. You’ll find all the classes that are currently on the schedule, including
a few taking place in the future that may not yet be in print, all with sample photos for you to look at.  I feel so lucky to have the
wonderful instructors that I have here at the shop, and they've been coming up with some great new ideas to keep everyone
interested and motivated.  As a matter of fact, I think CCQ has one of the best set of class offerings ever this quarter!

Last but not least, thank-you to everyone who stopped in during my second anniversary celebration.  I can’t believe it’s already been
two years, but I’m ready for more!  Lots of new fabrics are arriving every month, I’ve got a ton of charms and jelly rolls, new shop
samples are being hung nearly every week, and I've got tons of kits and panels ready to go for you to make those holiday gifts.  Stop in
soon!

Happy Quilting!
Ramona

The Hoffman Holiday fabric lines have arrived, and the top is done!  The program (series #5)
begins...now!  For this version, you'll need a pack of 1.75" Thangles.  Stop in today, get started,
and finish up in time for next Christmas!

         Future Blocks of the Month
Now there are more block programs coming to Chester County Quilting!  The first one will be
another Thangles Buck-A-Block program (series #4).  Scheduled to start in January,
this one will feature the reds, whites, and blues of Moda's American Primer line!

The second is a block of the month from Thimbleberries!  This is an exciting change to the recent
Big Quilt format that Thimbleberries has been using for the several past years.  Offered in three
colorway options, you're sure to find one to fit your decor.

And for all you appliquers, I'm delighted to announce a year-long Appliqué Club that will also
begin in January.  The very talented Kathy Savage will be hosting a short, monthly pizza party
and  lesson to hand out each month's kit, teach you the basics to get you started, and keep you
motivated.  The pattern we'll be using is
Fit to Frame #6 by Lori Smith.  Each individual block
finishes up at just under six inches, keeping things very manageable and doable in a month's time.
The class fee for this year-long series is $120, and includes the patterns, fabrics, pizza and drinks.
Think of how fun it'll be to look forward to your monthly block!  We'll be meeting on the third
Thursday evening of every month.  Please stop by the shop to take a look at the sample - it's
gorgeous!
