| Greetings, Everyone! I don't know about you, but April is definitely one of my favorite months of the year. Why? For starters, I'm really hoping that it means spring in right around the corner, at least here in the northeast part of the US. Winter has been so long and weird that is seems like the end of winter is still nowhere in sight. I can't wait for those days when I can prop the doors open and let the fresh air and sunshine in! April just happens to be my birthday month. While, like most people, I'm thrilled to be around to mark the occasion, I'm also wondering how I got to be so old (relatively speaking)! To celebrate the occasion, I'll be having my annual Birthday Sale. All fabric in the shop will be $2 off per yard, $2.50 if you finish the bolt. You'll also want to make a point of stopping by the week of April 29th through May 4th. The used book sale is returning, with all books available for a flat $10. Last year, hundreds of books were snapped up, so if you missed it, you're in luck! Remember, it's not all about quilting, either. Titles include sewing, knitting, home dec, embroidery, and more! There are currently 5 block-of-the-month programs going on, with more planned for the future, including the beautiful Christmas Peace. I'm also gearing up for another mystery quilt program that I guarantee you will love! Last but not least, don't forget that CCQ has a great selection of classes for you to take, and more are being added all the time. Whether you're a total newbie or a seasoned stitcher, you're bound to find something that's right up your alley! Happy Quilting! When a class calls for a particular book or pattern not supplied by the instructor, each student is expected to come to class with an original, legal copy of the book or pattern, whether purchased here at the shop or elsewhere. Owning a copy of a pattern or book does not give you the right to distribute copies, is a direct violation of the US Copyright Act, and deprives the designer of a fair income. We want to support all the talented designers and authors so they will continue doing what they do best. Chester County Quilting appreciates your cooperation and understanding. |
