| Happy New Year! I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday season and you're ready for the adventures awaiting you in the New Year. I'm very excited about this latest offering of classes here at CCQ. You'll find many of your favorite instructors have returned, but there are a few new names you'll want to become familiar with, too. As always, we have lots of new projects to pique your interest, but we never forget to bring back the classes that are in demand no matter how many times we've presented them. If you're one of those people who's schedule simply doesn't allow time for a class, maybe you should take a look at the current and upcoming block-of-the-month programs. Generals' Wives and Ginger Rose both start in January, with others planned for later in the year. As in years past, please keep in mind that my motto is 'Live to quilt another day' when it comes to inclement weather. If you're ever concerned about coming to class, just call. Chances are good that I'm going to feel the same way, especially since many of you travel quite some distance to get here. I post weather updates on the CCQ web site, Facebook, and Twitter. If you aren't already following Chester County Quilting, please consider it. In addition to weather updates, I post when an especially interesting shipment of fabric arrives or when monthly block kits are available for pick up. Here are a couple of dates you might want to keep in mind for the upcoming year. My sixth annual Super Bowl Sunday Sale will be held on Saturday, February 4th (since I'm closed on Sundays now). My Birthday Week sale starts April 23rd and runs through the 28th. And because it's such a popular event, the 2012 Fall Fabric Frenzy Shop Hop is scheduled for November 2nd through the 5th. Keep your eyes peeled for more info throughout the year. We're in the process of adding some new shops to this year's Hop and making some other changes to keep the Hop and fun and interesting as possible. Happy Quilting!
