| Hello, Everyone! My name is Ramona Moreland, and I'm the proud owner of Chester County Quilting. I'd like to briefly introduce myself to you, so here goes: I've lived in the Phoenixville area since the 60's, when my dad was stationed at the Valley Forge General Army Hospital. I'm married to a wonderful man, Allan, and we have three kids. I've been quilting for about ten years, but sewing for almost 40 - yikes, how did that happen! Anyway, after 25 years in the 'real' working world doing what I HAD to do, it was time to move on to a job where I could direct all my pent-up creativity and finally do what I NEEDED to do. Opening the shop has been the fulfillment of a long-standing dream of owning my own business. I still can't quite believe that I get to come to work everyday where I know I'll be surrounded by beautiful fabrics, inspiring quilts, and some really creative quilters. Since opening on September 19th, 2006, business has steadily been picking up, thanks to the support of the wonderful quilters in the area and the many local guilds. Now, I'm looking forward to celebrating the shops' second anniversary later this year! I plan on making it special, so please stay tuned.
